The Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj, has awarded the U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delawie for his work during his mandate which ends this year.
Delawie was honored with the Golden Map of Kosovo, for which Haradinaj said that it is a symbol of valuing Delawie’s great work in support of Kosovo’s state agenda.
“During the regular meeting with the U.S. Ambassador Greg Delawie, on behalf of the government and the population of the Republic of Kosovo, I had the honor to award him today with the Golden Map of Kosovo, as a symbol of our appreciation for his great work in supporting our state agenda and encouragement to do our best for all our citizens, indiscriminately,” Haradinaj wrote on his Facebook account.
Haradinaj told the media that the U.S. welcome an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia with recognition of Kosovo. According to him, all should agree that the dialogue should happen and an agreement has to be reached, however he stressed, “this agreement should not involve movement of borders.”
