Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP, Armend Zemaj, told KTV on Wednesday that no one, including President Hashim Thaci, can go against the will of the people of Kosovo and the Assembly. “No one has the mandate beyond the Constitution to discuss on Kosovo’s territory, to negotiate on borders. We will ask for a point [in the resolution] that prevents not only the President but everyone else from talking about territory without the consent of the Assembly. The lack of transparency in dialogue has brought us to this point … Internationals too are not properly informed about what is happening,” he said. Zemaj said he was told by U.S. officials that “the U.S. has not changed its position on the borders”.
