Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group chief, Avdullah Hoti, took to Facebook to write that the current government does not have the courage to treat Association of Serb-majority Municipalities and as a result, the draft statute was sent to Brussels avoiding the government of Kosovo.
“Association was created with the Agreement of 2013, which was ratified at the Assembly. While the 2015 agreement is technical, on implementation of the international obligation of Kosovo deriving from 2013 Agreement. This was noted by the Constitutional Court, paragraph II of the verdict KO-130/15 of 23 December 2015.
Therefore, Thaci took over the obligation for establishment of the Association ratified at the Assembly in 2013, and this is concluded by the Constitutional Court.
With the agreement of 2015, Mustafa’s government pulled PDK and Thaci out of the mud, where they had fell in 2013.
Mustafa’s government was careful to refer to the Constitution of Kosovo on every single point, in order to ensure that this Association can establish only in accordance with Kosovo’s Constitution and Laws.
