Rrustem Berisha, Minister of Kosovo Security Force said the end of 2018 will find Kosovo with its own army. “Kosovo will have its own army, always with the support of Kosovo’s friendly states,” he said. According to him, this will happen after the Assembly of Kosovo endorses three draft laws which enable transformation of the Kosovo Security Force into an army. Berisha made these comments during the oath of 15 new KSF cadets of the 25 generation.
