The Prime Minister’s Office on Community Affairs has organized a cocktail to mark the 28 September, World Day of the Bosniak Community. Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj said that coexistence between different communities in Kosovo is a tangible reality. He further went on to point out that the Bosnian community is not just a multi-ethnic Kosovo landscape, but it is also a bridge linking and assisting the cooperation between Bosnia and Kosovo.

Dude Balja, a member of the 6+ group member, said it was time to make a line to share the present and the past in order to build a common society. She stated that despite the problems faced by the Bosniak community in Kosovo, the representation in institutions of this community has increased. “Today we are much better than before,” she noted.

Rural Development Minister Rasim Demiri congratulated the Bosniaks on this day, adding that today’s date should serve as a lesson for not repeating the past. Demiri further mentioned the contribution of this community to the building of the Kosovo state. He also expressed the need for economic development as a guarantee to enhance the well-being of this community and help cultivate a multi-ethnic society where the community will be integrated.
