Balkan Green Foundation (BGF) as part of the Kosovo Civil Society Consortium for Sustainable Development (KOSID) and in cooperation with the EU Office in Kosovo organised a roundtable on the topic of Kosovo’s readiness to tackle climate change. Executive director of the Balkan Green Foundation, Visar Azemi, said Kosovo is among the second largest carbon dioxide emitter in the Western Balkans region and it cannot remain indifferent to climate change. Azemi said Kosovo has prepared strategy to address climate change but that has not been implemented.
