Riza Halimi, leader of the Democratic Action political party in Presevo Valley, said that it is not clear to him what the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci means while talking about unification with Presevo Valley.
According to him, this matter would not make sense if not decided to be discussed at the Assembly of Kosovo. “It is not clear to me why President Hashim Thaci is continuously talking about unification of Presevo Valley with Kosovo, because it is very unclear. This would of course make sense if debated at the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and if everything was explained there,” he said.
Halimi added that all this debate has now become useless, following the statements of President Alexander Vucic that such an option is no longer on the agenda.
Riza Halimi was for several years’ MP at the Serbian Parliament and he was also speaker of the Preseva Municipal Assembly.
