Opposition political parties hope to find support of some of the coalition government MPs to vote the motion of distrust on Haradinaj’s cabinet.

General Secretary of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) Ismet Beqiri said they are in negotiations with some MPs of the coalition government, however he did not specify their names. He stressed that LDK is mobilizing for an election process and added that the current government is the weakest one Kosovo has ever had. He added that LDK will not repeat its mistake of embracing small political parties such as the Alliance for the New Kosovo (AKR) which in the end joined the winning coalition.

Beqiri added that MPs from his political party will participate at Thursday’s Assembly session if the law package for the army is discussed. He said they will vote these draft laws however they will continue to boycott other issues at the Assembly.
