Kosovo Assembly committee for foreign affairs, diaspora and strategic investments discussed today the government report on the dialogue with Serbia, drafted in June. Head of this committee Vjosa Osmani from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) said there is no professional analysis or assessment of the relations with Serbia. She added that the report should include more detailed analysis of the Thaci-Dacic agreement of 2013.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Glauk Konjfca said transparency of the dialogue has failed. “Numbers of the reporting at the Assembly (5-6) and numbers of the meetings (40) are in disproportion. The aspect that we have considered to be the most important one, transparency of reporting each time they meet with Serbian officials, has failed. After reading this forty-page report, it is insane to say that dialogue with Serbia has been successful,” he said.

According to them, the committee should analyze the seven-year process of the dialogue, and then the Assembly should come up with recommendations.
