Kosovo Assembly MP from the Vetevendosje Movement Albulena Haxhiu took to Facebook to write that government commission for recognition of the status of war-time rape survivor should report to the Assembly of Kosovo.

“The government commission for recognition of the status of war-time rape survivor should report  to the Assembly as soon as possible, more precisely to the respective committees for rejecting over 100 applications of the war-time raped individuals,” Haxhiu wrote.

“What facts does the Commission need? What is required as evidence to convince the Commission that someone was sexually abused during the war, some twenty years ago?

The number of the war veterans has been quadruplicated while when it comes to victims of sexual abuse they request for who knows what kind of evidence,” Haxhiu wrote.
