Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli said he was grateful to all members of the United Nations Security Council who have shown support for Kosovo’s membership at Interpol. “I am grateful to all members of the United Nations Security Council who have shown support for Kosovo’s application for membership at Interpol. By becoming a member of Interpol, Kosovo will play a stronger and more effective role in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, smuggling and trafficking of human beings at the national, regional and international level. Interpol membership will make Kosovo safer, strengthen regional co-operation and ensure better international co-operation for the Kosovo Police,” Pacolli wrote on his Facebook account.
