Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister, Fatmir Limaj, said in an interview to T7 on Wednesday that the Kosovo government could soon introduce a reciprocity measure with Serbia on license plates. Limaj said the measure would mean that vehicles with Serbian plates would need to put temporary plates before entering Kosovo’s territory. Asked to comment on the EU’s call to revoke the tax decision on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Limaj said: “We were expecting such a request from Brussels. The European Union must understand that Kosovo can no longer accept Serbia’s approach towards us”.
