Kosovo’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement denying reports that Serbia’s liaison officer to Kosovo has been facing obstructions in performing his duties. The Ministry said that it has obtained information from relevant institutions reconfirming that the Serbian government official has not faced any difficulty in exercising his duties and responsibilities in line with the Brussels agreement. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs appreciates the work, the role and constructive engagement of Liaison Officers who, since their appointment, have contributed to development of meaningful communication between institutions of both countries and in this regard encourages broadening of their scope of activity,” the statement reads.
