The Pristina-based Council for the Defense of Human Rights and Freedoms issued a press release today commenting on the ongoing visit to Pristina by the EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn. The CDHRF refers to Hahn as “a liar who is concerned over the 100-percent tax on Serbian and Bosnian goods, but not concerned about the fact that 2 million of Kosovo’s citizens are left in a dead-end situation without a future”. The CDHRF argues that the Kosovo government must not revoke the 100-percent tax and that it should not even meet Commissioner Hahn until it gets firm guarantees for visa liberalization and that Serbia will no longer interfere in Kosovo’s internal affairs.
