Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj said inter-institutional cooperation remains a challenge in fighting gender-based violence in Kosovo. Speaking at a conference on access to justice for victims of gender-based violence, Hararadinaj said it was crucial to report the cases to judicial institutions. “What is perceived as bad news – reporting of domestic violence cases – in fact shows a higher awareness or courage in reporting violence,” he said.
