Radio Television Mir (RTV Mir) reported on educational workshops within the project “NO means NO”  that were held in the premises of Leposavic municipality, where the methods of self-defense and the help of psychologists were presented, as a part of the ways of how Kosovo youth fights to reduce the number of cases of violence.

The United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) financially supported the project “NO means NO” implemented within the Program Activity “2nd UN Youth Assembly in Kosovo” and aims at inter-ethnic confidence building, the empowerment of young women and the education of young girls and women about psychological and physical violence.

How to prevent violence if you are a witness of violence and how to overcome it if you are a victim were the topics of lecture by a psychologist after which lectures on self-defense with a professional trainer were held.

The project includes three municipalities in Kosovo, next to Leposavic, lectures will be held in Pristina and Kosovo Polje, reported RTV Mir.
