After the meeting of Kosovo institutional leaders with ambassadors of Quint countries, co-chairperson of the Kosovo negotiating team Fatmir Limaj said they received full support on continuing the dialogue with Serbia and that Quint representatives urged Kosovo political parties to be united in the process. “The ambassadors expressed full support, they want unity, and they encouraged us to involve the rest in this process,” Limaj said. He said the idea behind the meeting was to inform the Quint countries of Kosovo’s commitment to dialogue with Serbia. Limaj also commented on statements from Serbian government officials saying they didn’t want him as negotiator: “Kosovo representatives are elected by the people of Kosovo, those in Serbia by the people of Serbia. We don’t have to like one another and we definitely don’t.”
