Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, visited today the General Directorate of Kosovo Police, after a police officer from Istog died in the line of duty on Thursday while trying to prevent a bank robbery in Istog. Haradinaj told reporters after the meeting that from now on police officers will receive even greater support and that he will not allow criminals to take the law into their hands. “I have come here to express my condolences, to give my support to the police, and we will never allow criminals to make the law in Kosovo. The police will receive all the support. Women, children and many innocent people could have died yesterday,” Haradinaj was quoted as saying.
