Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, said on Wednesday that it was important for Serbian List MPs to attend the Assembly session that will vote on the new budget. Haradinaj said the government has identified the needs of Serb-inhabited municipalities while drafting the budget and that they need to be present to vote on these projects. “It is important that they are present that day for the vote on the budget. I kindly ask them to be present, because this is great responsibility to the people. As elected representatives they should attend and vote. I would not want to break off our coalition with them. It is better for them, for the process in the future, and for the budget, if they attend,” Haradinaj said. Asked about investigations into the assassination of Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic, Haradinaj said he is committed to reveal the truth but added that the answer might not be in Kosovo. “We are carrying out investigations and we want to know the truth. But it is difficult to give a full answer, things are related, and the answer might not be in Kosovo. I cannot say precisely where the answer is. I won’t rush in making any judgments, but we want to see this through and I would kindly ask anyone that might have any information to help us so that justice is served,” he added.
