The UN Security Council will convene today to discuss the quarterly report of the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. It was uncertain whether the session would actually take place for the fact that countries like the U.S., UK and France think it is unnecessary to hold such frequent meetings on Kosovo, a view not shared by Russia and China. According to the announcement on the UN website, the meeting is scheduled to take place at 15.00hrs New York time, or 21:00hrs local time. Kosovo is expected to be represented by its ambassador to the U.S., Vlora Citaku, while Serbia by its Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic.
