Kosovo’s Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, invited the state leaders to dinner at one of the restaurants in Pristina on Tuesday evening, an hour after President Thaci, Assembly President Veseli and Prime Minister Haradinaj received another warning from Washington to lift the 100-percent import tariff on Serbian and Bosnian goods. Lekaj told the news website that the dinner was a friendly meeting held on the eve of the anniversary of Kosovo’s independence, and that leaders discussed current topics, including the 100-percent tariff. “It is normal for policymakers when they meet to discuss current topics, but the meeting was friendly,” he said. According to Lekaj, the tariff issue was discussed only after President Thaci left the meeting.
