An eighteenth anniversary of the attack against Nis-Express bus in the village of Livadice, near Podujevo, killing 12 Serbs and injuring 43 others was marked on Saturday, in Laplje Selo, Radio KIM reports. The requiem was served by the Serbian Orthodox Church priest.

Jelena, sister of one of the killed passengers Mirjana Dragovic, said Kosovo is an area where there is no justice, where everything can be done, and everything is allowed, a place where no one was held responsible for the crimes against the Serbs.

Gracanica mayor Srdjan Popovic, who was also in one of the five buses, traveling in convoy on that day, said after so many years of pursuing for the truth and justice, there is no response yet who are the perpetrators of this but also many other crimes committed against Serbs in Kosovo.

This crime represents one of the gravest crimes against Serbs in Kosovo since the arrival of the international forces. The bus, that was the first one in a convoy of five, transporting Serbs, was blown up by an explosive placed under the road.

The only one accused for this crime was Florim Ejupi, who was acquitted in 2009 due to lack of evidence, by second-degree decision of the Supreme Court of Kosovo. Previously, he was sentenced to 40 years in prison for this crime, KIM Radio reported.
