Political analysts, Shkelzen Maliqi and Behgjet Shala, said on Monday that the 100-percent import tariff on Serbian and Bosnian goods could result in the breakup of the ruling coalition in Kosovo. They argue that differing positions between Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Assembly President Kadri Veseli on the tariff have put in question the current government. They also predict that a new government will be formed and that the Social Democratic Party of Kosovo (PSD) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) could be part of it.
