A Kosovo deputy, from the Gorani community, withheld his support to Haradinaj after Diana Zivic’s election as minister.
After the reaction of the representatives of the Serbs in Kosovo to the appointment of Dijana Zivic as the new Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development in Kosovo instead of Nenad Rikalo, also reacted and a representative of the Gorani community.
– As the only deputy of the Gorani community who has repeatedly shown that the welfare of all citizens in Kosovo is in the first place, and who did not make difference between the nationalities, I am disappointed that no one consulted me about the name of the new minister – said Adem Hoxha, a deputy in the Kosovo parliament from the ranks of the Gorani community.
He pointed out that Zivic does not have the support of the largest Serbian party in Kosovo, but also that she was a student.
Hoxha stated that as someone who “helped this government to form”, he expected to be consulted on such issues, and since he was not, will no longer support the proposals of the Kosovo government in the Kosovo Assembly.
Zivic is a member of the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) of Slobodan Petrovic, who is also the only deputy of the party in the Assembly, reports Blic.
