Kosovo’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs stated in a press release issued on the fifth anniversary of annexation of Crimea by Russia, that Kosovo as the other peace-loving countries, is committed to the international peace and order and cannot remain silent towards Russian statements on annexation of this Ukrainian territory and on seeing Russia’s systematic mistreatment of the Tatars of Crimea. “Kosovo expresses its deep concern with regards to the repression in Crimea occupied by Russia and calls on Russia to stop abusing with human rights and release all Tatars in Crimea and other Ukrainian citizens (around seventy) who are being held illegally in prison,” was stated in the press release issued by Foreign Ministry of Kosovo.
