Sunny Valley in Mitrovica to be helped by Russian Orthodox Church (RTKlive)
Head of the so-called Office for Kosovo at the Government of Serbia, and Deputy leader of the Serbian Progressive Party, Marko Djuric, is visiting Moscow, where he informed his interlocutors about the situation in Kosovo.
Djuric, together with another deputy leader of this party, Maria Obradovic, met today in Moscow with the leader of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Party, Boris Grizlov, who stressed that relations between Russia and Serbia have been tested by time and that foreign influences can never affect them.
Djuric informed Grizlov about the situation in Kosovo, with the flow of the dialogue in Brussels and the situation of the Serb population in Kosovo, reported Tanjug.
He said that the Serbian Government has started the process of the return of the displaced people from Kosovo. Djuric spoke also about the building of the “Sunny Valley” settlement, in the north of Kosovo.
Djuric stressed the importance of help from the Russian Orthodox Church, which has expressed its readiness to build a church at this settlement, reports this Serbian news agency.
