EU Office speaks about lack of the integration minister (Koha Ditore)
The European Union High Representative in Pristina, Natalia Apostolova, stressed the importance of the nomination of the Minister for European Integration.
The promise of the President of the Parliament, Kadri Veseli, that he would nominate Bekim Çollaku’s successor within the week, was not kept. Asked about this matter, the EU office relied to the paper noting that “It is important for the government to nominate the Minister for European Integration in order to assure continuance and effectiveness on implementation of the Stabilization Association Agreement as well setting the priorities towards the intention of approximation with the EU.”
