Vucic: What Izetbegovic has to do with Kosovo? (Radio kontakt plus, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic responded to criticism of the Bosniac member of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, by asking what Izetbegovic has to do with Kosovo, Serbian media reported.

In an interview for Klix.ba portal Izetbegovic said that “Vucic talks about peace, while getting armament,” and he believes “Vucic tries with strong words to please and calm down radical part of the Serbian public, before he undertakes certain moves in relation to Kosovo, that could cause resistance (…).”

“I have read it carefully, and is there anyone who could tell me what he (Izetbegovic) has to do with Kosovo and Metohija? It is a direct interference in internal matters of one country. Serbia is threat to no one, and we want the best relations with Bosniacs. They have 15 days left prior to elections, and then someone wants to score points by saying something bad about me. When I talk about Bosnia and Herzegovina, I speak about B&H as per Dayton Peace Accord, respect of its territorial integrity and territorial integrity of the Republic of Srpska,” Vucic said.
