Serbian Government session with Serb representatives from Kosovo announced (BETA, RTS)
Joint session of the Serbian Government and Serb representatives from Kosovo should be held in a month’a time and investment plan for Serb-majority municipalities would be presented, Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced, BETA news agency reported.
During yesterday’s meeting of Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric with representatives of Serbian institutions and local self-governments in Kosovo it was concluded that encouraging measures would be harmonized for investors ready to invest in these areas. A revision of already prepared infrastructural and economic projects should also take place prior to the session.
“Recent visit of President Vucic in Kosovo in the economic sense represents once in a time chance for our citizens in Kosovo and all their political representatives who want to do something good and useful,” Djuric said.
Nikola Selakovic, General Secretary of the Serbian President said it is necessary to involve all intellectual and institutional resources on the ground, in particular University of Pristina, temporarily located in Mitrovica North, in preparation and realization of the projects.
He also noted, it is also necessary to engage all local capacities to prepare the market for products that would come as a result of the forthcoming investment cycle, Serbia media reported.
