Chepurin: Haradinaj’s claims ordinary caricature and absurd (Tanjug, B92)
Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Alexander Chepurn in the strongest terms condemned claims Ramush Haradinaj made in his Op-Ed published in the Washington Post, Tanjug news agency reported.
Ambassador Chepurin also refuted that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, with the alleged help of Russia, is offering recognition of Kosovo in return for part of its territory.
“The claims Ramush Haradinaj made in the Washington Post are in their form a caricature, and its content is an absurd. I would emphasize that the international law is on the side of Serbia,” Ambassador Chepurin said.
“Serbia is supported not only by Russia, but also by an increasing number of states. The fact that many states revoked their decisions to recognize Kosovo proves it. The results of voting in several international organizations, including Interpol prove that as well,” Ambassador Chepurin noted.
