Jevtic: Human rights more important than delineation (Voice of America, Radio KIM)
Outgoing Kosovo Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic told Voice of America, he does not know what an idea on delineation encompasses, and that he is not personally familiar with that idea. However, Jevtic added that any agreement leading towards a lasting peace should be supported.
“If one speaks about delineation, the first issue for me is the issue of human rights. Therefore, before we discuss about anything else, it is very important to speak about those things that would help in a concrete manner to the better connection of people, cooperation and that their rights are respected (…),” Jevtic said.
He also thinks now is a good moment to reach an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina.
Asked why Srpska Lista did not submit a complaint to the Constitutional Court over the Kosovo army, as it has announced earlier, Jevtic responded it would yield no results.
