Dacic: The former US administration is preventing a compromise solution for Kosovo (Vecernje Novosti, N1, SRNA)

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic told Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti that the bearers of the former US administration for 20 years prevent the achievement of a compromise and mutually acceptable solution for Kosovo, quote Serbian media.

Commenting on the names of the main guests in Pristina at the marking of 20 years since NATO's entry into Kosovo, Dacic says that he is not surprised that among them are the wife of the former US President at the time of bombing of the FR of Yugoslavia, Hillary Clinton and then Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

He told Vecernje Novosti that these were the people who led the aggression against Serbia, aimed at the violent separation of Kosovo.

Dacic emphasizes that he sincerely believes that this move by the former US administration holders, who is still in an open fight with the current president of the United States, will be an indication for Donald Trump that this way they defend the politics of the final act which for 20 years have been preventing the achievement of a compromise and mutually acceptable solution for the Kosovo.

The Pristina authorities have thanked the Clinton family for the past two decades in various ways, in addition to the fact that a boutique in Pristina was named after Hillary, in 2009, her husband got a six meters high monument in the city center. Before that, the boulevard, where the monument is located, was already named after him.

Pristina authorities expect Clinton and Albright to come to mark the twentieth anniversary of the "entry of NATO forces" on June 12.
