Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic says that key messages from the Berlin meeting yesterday focused on an attempt to unblock the stalemate in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, reports RTK2 quoting Croatian news agency Hina.

He added that the views of Belgrade and Pristina are quite distant

"There were a few ideas, however, at this point, no approach was taken regarding the abolition of Kosovo tariffs, nor did Belgrade take any step that would lead to recognition at this stage," Plenkovic said, according to Hina agency.

Noting that it was agreed that the dialogue on this issue continues in early July, Plenkovic said that "the efforts of Germany, France and wider European diplomacy will probably require more talks in order to unblock the situation."

He added that in Berlin he pointed out and what are the ambitions of Croatia for the next year when in the first six months this country will preside over the EU.

"We will try to combine the political issues that are open between the countries of Southeast Europe and the institutional part of the EU approach," Plenkovic said.
