May 19 elections referendum for survival of Serb people in Kosovo (RTS, TV Most)

Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Assistant Director Petar Petkovic and Srpska Lista (SL) mayoral candidate in Mitrovica North Goran Rakic said yesterday the upcoming elections for mayors in four northern municipalities represent a referendum for the survival and remain of the Serb people in Kosovo, RTS reported. “This victory is needed to prove that the determination of the Serb people to defend their dignity is unbreakable (…),” Rakic told TV Most. He also urged citizens to turn out to the polling stations on Sunday, adding “there is no way to kill the willingness of the Serb people to fight for their existence and their rights.” Meanwhile, Petkovic said that Srpska Lista is a project of a national significance for the survival of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija, adding that the SL demonstrated how to protect the interests of the Serb people in a proper manner. He also noted the victory of Srpska Lista is a guarantee that all those projects initiated by the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Kosovo would continue.
