Vucic met with Engel (RTS)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today he hopes messages of the US Congressman Eliot Engel in Pristina would contribute to creating conditions for continuation of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, RTS reported. The sooner we continue the dialogue, the possibilities to reduce tensions would increase, Vucic added. President Vucic met with the Chairman of the House of Representatives Foreign Policy Committee, Congressman Eliot Engel in Belgrade today. “Positions were different when it comes to our relations toward Kosovo. He is one of the most significant proponents of the Kosovo independence. The conversation was correct, we spoke about what is important and how much it is important to continue the dialogue (…),” Vucic said. He noted other topics were discussed as well from Bytyci brothers case to the NATO aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. “We have exchanged different stances and opinions in a civilized and decent manner. It is important to maintain relations with the Foreign Policy Committee of US Congress,” Vucic underlined.
