Vucic: They boycott elections in Belgrade but not in Pristina (Beta, N1)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that those who boycott the elections in Belgrade are not doing that in Pristina because, as he said, “the conditions seem to be perfect over there.”

He thanked the Serbs who showed support to the Serbian List, which runs in the Kosovo elections, and he added that a lot of pressure was exerted on all others to run only to seize votes from the Serb List.

“We have intelligence data on various pressures on certain persons only to secure a low impact and a small number of votes for the Serb List,” according to Vucic.

He also said that a difficult period is lying ahead of Serbia when it comes to the Kosovo issue, stressing that Pristina would not have introduced the 100 percent import tariffs for Serbia if the international community had put a strong and real pressure.

“That's their baby, they made a crib for it and are swinging it, and now they allegedly can't make any influence, any. I am sure they can, and I hope they will in the upcoming period,” said Vucic.
