"Serbs’ boycott pulls down and Bosniaks" (KoSSev)
MP of the Bosniak Group "6+" in the Assembly of Kosovo, Dude Bala, said that yesterday Parliament did not consider "a resolution on the genocide of Serbs over the Kosovars."
"I think discussion on this topic can bother the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade," assessed Bala, adding that the resolution was not included on the agenda because of the oversized agenda and that it will be discussed at the next session.
Bala said that the Group "6+" did not bring a stance on the resolution, but thinks that now is not the time to discuss it.
In an interview with reporters, she expressed regret that the Serbian MPs do not participate in the Kosovo institutions.
"As a representative of the Bosniak people, I feel as though this decision is pulling us down also. The Ministry of Communities and Returns is a ministry that takes care of all communities and that we do not have a minister for return, it means that we do not have a door on which we can knock," assessed Bala.
She added that neither the Office for the minorities’ issues in Kosovo prime minister's office have a director.
Bosniak community had a proposal for the establishment of a new municipality, but the Minister for Local Government, from the Serbian list, does not come to work.
According to her, the problem is also that MPs have not elected Ombudsman again. She added that she believes that the Ombudsman likely was not chosen because of disagreement within the ruling coalitions.
