Odalovic: We have no information about new graves (RTK2)
President of the Commission for Missing Persons in the Serbian Government Veljko Odalović said that in order to continue clarifying the fate of missing persons in Kosovo, information about the new mass graves are required. "I hope that this year we will finally receive information about Kosare. We also request new search of Livočko Lake and Zilivode. However, these are our information. We did not receive information from the other side and I hope that Kosovo society will start to cooperate," said Odalović in the talk show Razgovor.
He argues that in the process of finding the missing people there is a lack of information from Pristina side. “Simply I cannot believe that no one knows anything about missing persons. For example Dr. Andrija Tomanović who is missing, was taken from the hospital during the day in front of the hundreds of people. Albanian society has to speak, otherwise it protects criminals. Why they should carry on a burden of individuals who committed crimes,” asked Odalović.
In regards to the warrant for 15 Serbs from Djakovica, Odalovic said that an international organ issued it, on the basis of the indictment of the court, what present potentially dangerous practice. “Does that mean that every court, the Basic Court in any municipality, can send request to UNMIK and EULEX for issuing the warrant just because they believe person is responsible for committing a crime,” asked Odalovic.
He said that the mandate of the Special Court shall determine the international community. "The cases like Livadice, crime from Gorazdevac, the assassination of Stanimir Vukicevic when the driver was killed, murder of Aleksandar Petrovic when the jeep was blown in the middle of Pristina, and the other crimes must be legally processed. This cannot be forgotten. Also nobody can forget the atrocities that took place on the 17th March 2014, when many people were killed," said Odalović. He said that the Albanian side should think twice if the law on the establishment of the Special Court will not be adopted.
