Klina: Serbs sleeping on floors of empty apartments (TV Most)
Coordinator for the return in Klina/Kllinë Municipality Silvija Rašković said that members of six displaced families who returned to that town sleep on the floors of apartments allocated to them since apartments are without any furniture. Some of them were not even able to enter their apartments because they are already usurped, stressed Rašković.
She explained that it is about families waited seven years for their apartments to be constructed, and now after they received keys, two weeks ago, they had to leave because they didn’t have beds and were not able to prepare food.
Rašković also stressed that some returnees were not able to enter their apartments because they were already usurped, whereas others have problems with the electricity supply since their electricity-meters are already registered on usurpers’ names.
Representative of the Ministry for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government Uroš Staletović said that the Ministry did not receive any request from families who returned to Klina/Kllinë with regard to furniture and other equipment.
