Dacic: The Kosovo issue is still not solved, we continue the talks (Blic)
“We do not intend to assist Pristina to become an independent , because you made decision to secede,” said today the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačic, answering the question of the President of the Institute for Democracy and Development in Pristina, Leon MalaBliczogu, who asked him when the Peace Park will be removed. He added that the Kosovo issue is not resolved, as Pristina thinks, and that Serbia wants to continue the status-neutral talks in Brussels.
Taking part in the conference "European security policy at a crossroads," Dacic said that Serbia want to continue constructive talks in Brussels, and also it wants normal functioning of the daily life in Kosovo.
Dacic said that if Pristina considers that there is nothing to be discussed with Belgrade in Brussels, then it (Pristina) should solve the issue of northern Kosovo, the “Peace Park” ... “You have to understand the reality, which is that Serbia does not have a full sovereignty in a large part of Kosovo, but that Kosovo has no sovereignty in the north either,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs.
He reiterated that the Kosovo issue has not been resolved, and that Pristina should understand participating of the Belgrade side in the talks as the strength of Serbia, and not as a weakness.
