The issue of Serbia's EU accession and its relation to Kosovo will be addressed thorough a certain formula which will be devised by diplomats, believes Erhard Busek, former vice chancellor of Austria.

I am certain that the EU will arrive at a decision on Serbia's membership that will refer to Kosovo as part of this country. They will devise a certain formula. This is what the diplomats do, Busek said. During a discussion about the Serbian-Austrian relations in Vienna on Wednesday evening, he underlined that today Serbia's position on Kosovo is much different from the one it had one or two decades ago, adding that it is also necessary that Kosovo's stance changes too.

Serbia will certainly be among the first ones on the list to join the EU, believes former head of the Southeast European Cooperative Initiative (SECI).
