Last night, around midnight, unknown perpetrators have set on fire a vehicle owned by the director of Hospital in Gračanica/Graçanicë, Nebojsa Milovanovic, and left threatening message at the entrance door of his house in village Donja Gusterica in Gračanica/Graçanicë municipality. Milovanovic said he believes that the incident has a political background and added that this will not deter him from carrying out his duties.

The Mayor of Gračanica/Graçanicë municipality, Vladeta Kostic, stated that he will do everything possible that the light is shed on the attacks on political representatives and officials of the municipality. He went on to say that this is the third attack on officials from this municipality and added that he is not satisfied with police reaction in previous two cases, however he voiced hope that they will be more efficient this time.

Kostic further said that such incidents are intimidating residents in Donja Gusterica and particularly causing anxiety amongst employees in Gračanica/Graçanicë. “This has to be stopped and perpetrators should be brought to justice,” said Kostic.
