Djurić: No justifications for delay of creation of the A/CSM (TV Most)
“The process of delay of the creation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities is not acceptable for Serbia from a political point of view and we have made it clear in front of the 190 members of the United Nations, and in front of the permanent and non-permanent members of the Security Council (UN)”, said Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djurić to TV Most.
“There is neither excuse nor justification for further delay and Serbia will persevere in insisting for the agreements to be implemented and for our people to be able to live a normal life,” said Djurić, and added that Serbia respects its obligations from the agreements. Djurić went on to say that the United Nations is the main address for Serbia when it comes to many important political topics which refer to the status of the south Serbian province. “United Nations Security Council is the forum in front of which Serbia presents facts about events in Kosovo and Metohija and about the status of our people in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as on disrespect and violation of rights of our people. Every incident is duly registered, recorded and presented in front of the 190 members of the United Nations,” said Djurić.
“We don’t have any other more important address in the international organizations and in the international community,” said Djurić.
