Dacic: Without Russia Kosovo would already be UN member (TV Most)
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, said that without Russian Federation, Serbian political partner in recent decades, Kosovo would already be admitted to the United Nations. "If Vladimir Putin would be Russian President at the time we were introduced sanctions, when Serbia was in problems and during the wars in former Yugoslavia, Serbia certainly would not have been bombed," said Dacic. "We extend our hand to all, build good relationships with everyone, but Serbia cannot, and would not be morally clean if it would turn its back to Russia, when Russia is facing difficulties," he said.
According to him, Serbia is trying to have good relations with everyone in the international arena, but will never break up good and friendly relations with Russia, China, the countries of Latin America, Africa and Asia - countries that have enabled us to win in the UNESCO, to preserve our monuments and churches in Kosovo and Metohija.
