A Serb from Novo Naselje village detained (KIM radio)
Yesterday around 2.20 pm at the Merdare crossing, Sinisa Arsic from Novo Naselje village, was detained.
KIM radio learned that the police detained him for possession of payroll lists for workers of the Serbian municipality of Stimlje.
As confirmed by Sinisa's brother to the RTV KIM, this happened when the police searched Arsic's vehicle, as he was returning from Serbia proper, and found documents for the municipality of Stimlje under the Serbian system.
"In the car he had a payroll list for the municipality of Stimlje, where he works as a chief accountant. They kept him and said that he has to make a statement at the police station in Podujevo. Then they said that he would have to give a statement and to the public prosecutor, but Monday was not a working day so he had to be in custody until the morning," says Arsic's brother.
