Montenegro: Six persons arrested for human trafficking from Kosovo (NMagazin)

Hina Agency reports that Montenegrin police have arrested six people, two residents of Montenegro, Russia and Kosovo, on suspicion of illegal transportation of  hundreds of people from Kosovo to EU countries since 2013.

Tamara Popovic, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Montenegro, says that these six people were arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal acts of establishing a criminal organization, illegal border crossing and smuggling of people.

54 people were arrested by the Montenegrin police in connection to the illegal transportation of hundreds of individuals through Montenegro, of whom only 267 have been identified so far, said Popovic.
