Nikolić: Romania’s position on Kosovo valuable for Serbia (Beta, Vecernje Novosti)

President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić, yesterday received Romanian Ambassador to Serbia Daniel Banu in his farewell visit and thanked him for perseverance in non-recognition of Kosovo, communicated the Office of the President.

“The fact that Romania firmly remains on the position of non-recognition of the so-called Kosovo, and the fact that trade exchange between our two states has reached almost a billion euros annually, confirms big importance of Romania for Serbia, and the need for further development of our relations. Position of Romania with regard to Kosovo and Metohija is particularly valuable for Serbia, as well as its support to our Euro-integration path,” said Nikolić.

Banu said that Serbia is the most important regional partner of Romania and added that position of Romania, when it comes to Kosovo won’t change, reads a communique.
