Despite pressure, letter goes to EU (Novosti)

Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, would not give up sending the letter to the European Union and member states that have recognized unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, regardless of huge pressure exercised on him, Novosti daily reports today. The head of the Serbian state, is decisive to point out to Brussels, injustice done by using double standards in the international community. Belgrade would not remain silent to the incredible stance of the EU that Catalonia and Kosovo are incomparable, just because Spain, contrary to Serbia, is an EU member state, daily further writes. Due to this political and legal nonsense, Brussels found itself in, it does not was this topic to go any further. That is why signals were sent to Belgrade, “it would be good to give up the letter,” however Serbian authorities will not consider such an option. A working group is already established and will prepare the text Serbian PM Ana Brnabic would take personally to the EU Headquarters on October 10, while the letter would also be sent to 22 EU member states that have recognized Kosovo. Tanjug yesterday reported that the European Commission said it would provide detailed and well prepared response to the Serbian letter, once it receives it.
