Srpska Lista continues campaign in Gracanica (RTS)
Srpska Lista, continued its campaign for local elections in Kosovo, and presented its mayoral candidate for Gracanica municipality, Srdjan Popovic, RTS reported.
Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric attended the gathering in Gracanica to offer the support to Srpska Lista on behalf of the Serbian Government, RTS reported.
“As your future mayor I can only promise you one thing. I would deal with you and your issues. My place would not be in the office, but with you on the ground, in your village, in your land and in your house,” Srdjan Popovic stated.
“Could you imagine, God forbid, that in some of the ten Serb-majority municipalities, instead of a mayor who would work and co-operate with Belgrade and be part of the Serbian state policy, would be people who would closer co-operate with Pristina, closer co-operate with some other decision-making centres. Just imagine, what would happen with our schools, with our hospitals, with all these things that influence remain and survival in Kosovo. Could we dare to allow that?” Marko Duric said.
Mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic also attended the gathering in Gracanica and invited citizens to vote for Srpska Lista, RTS reported.
