Kosovo elections: Deceased people on voters’ lists (Vesti-online)
Oliver Ivanovic, leader of the Civic Initiative, Freedom, Democracy, Justice said there were irregularities in the electoral process, and that deceased people are on voters’ lists, including his own parents, Vesti-Online reported.
“My parents are on voters’ list, but my 25 years old son is not,” Ivanovic said to Vesti-online. According to the media outlet, Ivanovic was not the only one pointing to that problem, as citizens from the north of Kosovo contacted the Vesti-online, saying they have seen their deceased members of families on the lists, fearing that their votes could be misused.
In a separate article on elections, Vesti online also noted that among the mayoral candidates for the Serb-majority municipalities there was no a single female candidate.
